Associate Professor, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
Richard Chang has been teaching in UMBC’s Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department for nearly 15 years. His research interests cover computational complexity theory and the analysis of algorithms, in particular, NP optimization problems, approximation problems, randomized reductions, bounded query classes, Boolean Hierarchy, space bounded computations and relativizations.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
